Nine months have passed since I last wrote on this blog. Nine. Months. When I realised it was time to put together the best of my wedding photography for this 2017, my mind got so crowded with faces, places and emotions that I couldn’t even decide where to start for a good couple of hours. Being used to share a lot of my life through social media, especially because of my work, it felt almost unreal to realise that all of that was just in my mind and hasn’t been shared with my community at all, but maybe for a few previews. This year has been filled with so much of everything: becoming a mother has been quite a journey itself, then travelling the whole summer with my husband and my baby (when I’m usually a solo traveller), spending more time in every place in order for the baby not to get too stressed (when I usually stay really briefly in every place I go to), working more often with incredibly talented colleagues (when I was used to work mainly alone – and I want to take the time here to say a huge thank you to Lorenzo Berni, Cinzia Bruschini, Paola Colleoni, Giorgia Gaggero e Francesco Spighi who have been shooting with me some of the following images and supported Bianco in so many ways… guys, you’re the best!), talking to colleagues about work/life balance, marketing and photographic research, and meeting some of the most incredible clients I ever had have been just some of the changes and inspirations this year has bought. I realised that I was under “press silence” a few weeks ago, I looked back and I understood that this time has been a time of change as well: I’ve been growing, and Bianco with me. So, I decided to celebrate this incredibly intense moment in my professional life with a new website, which is going to be online in the coming weeks. I can’t wait to share with you all the result of the work my team and I made in the past few weeks, but meanwhile I edited this selection of favourites of mine… definitely not all the one I would have loved to publish, but I promise all these full stories are going to hit the blog very soon in the new website. See you in 2018!
